Pembroke Pines, Florida (77WABC) – The National Transportation Safety Board will now be conducting a full investigation hours after a small plane crashed into a car in South Florida — killing three people — including a little boy.

A Ring Doorbell camera captured those extraordinary moments of impact which according to the Federal Aviation Administration, occurred just after 3pm on Monday afternoon.  A warning, that the video maybe graphic.   You can watch it below:

The Beech BE36TC Bonanza small aircraft crashed shortly after it took off from North Perry Airport.  It happened in the area of Southwest 72nd Avenue and 13th Street.  Several firetrucks and emergency service workers arrived within minutes of the fatal crash.

Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue tells 77WABC initially two people were rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital in serious condition, one adult and one child.  The Fire Department later confirmed the child passed away as a result of his injuries.  That child had to be extricated from the vehicle — trapped while the plane immediately burst into flames.

According to authorities, a vehicle was traveling northbound on 72nd Avenue when it was hit by the falling plane, which also took out a power line during the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration says this plane crash  is the latest in a string of crashes in the area. Since last year there have been five, several of which were fatal.

The National Transportation Safety Board says on-site investigators will arrive to the crash site this morning and will be on-scene for the next several days before they have more preliminary information.

The plane crash taking place on the three year anniversary of the Florida International University bridge collapse which killed 6 people.  The bridge collapse and where Monday’s plane crash happened is just miles away.

The NTSB released a detailed illustrated report on how it happened and safety recommendations in a report which you can read here: https://www.ntsb.gov/investigations/AccidentReports/Pages/SPC2002.aspx
